The Saw series continues with this seventh entry, spearheaded by returning Saw VI director Kevin Greutert. Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton also are back to pen the script, which details the exploits of serial killer Jigsaw's surviving victims, who seek counseling from a self-help mentor (Sean Patrick... Flanery) whose past as a previous victim figures directly into each one's fate. Cary Elwes returns to the franchise for the first time since his character survived Jigsaw's first cinematic outing in 2004.

Cloverfield's Matt Reeves adapts Tomas Alfredson's cult Swedish hit Let the Right One In with this remake for the Overture/Hammer Films production. The horror pic, based on author John Ajvide Lindqvist's novel, concerns a bullied 12-year-old boy (The Road's Kodi Smit-McPhee) whose friendship with a new... female neighbor (Chloe Moretz) coincides with a series of bloody murders in their small town.

Zack Snyder presents a hyper-violent spin on Alice in Wonderland for his directorial follow-up to Watchmen with this Cruel and Unusual Films production for Warner Bros. The plot details the action-packed fantasy world of a mental patient (Emily Browning), who escapes from her reality to deal with her... abusive stepfather. The pic was written by Snyder and Steve Shibuya, and features a supporting cast headed by Abbie Cornish, Vanessa Hudgens, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino, and Mad Men's Jon Hamm.

The Karugamo High School Baseball Team has not been doing well. After losing badly to the Eagles, many of the players leave, and the team now has only eight players, one too few to play a game. Going against his principles, the main character Harumaki Shunpei decides to buy a baseball robot. However, since he does not have enough money, he ends up buying the maid robot named Azusa. Even though Azusa has a warm heart and strong determination, it doesn't appear that she stands a chance against her adversaries who were top-of-the-line baseball robots. Big Battle is a one-shot OVA set after the climax of the original Votoms storyline, but before the epilogue at the end of the series itself. With the Gilgamesh and Balarant forces still trying to advance their PS programs, Chirico and his old friends are forced into one last gladiatorial battle against a special PS and a formidable land battleship.

Released in 1985, this OVA tells a critical part of the story between the TV show's Uoodo and Kummen arcs. Although the TV series covered the Red Shoulders in some detail, we didn't get to see much of Chirico's time there or the people involved, and we get both of those here.

Naomi Armitage, her husband Ross, and their daughter Yoko are spending a nice, quite life in a nice part of Mars with new names. Unfortunately, troops have raided a Third Type facility slaughtering not only the Armitage robots, but killing the human staff as well. More and more Thirds turn up missing, as a serial killer who is intent on wiping out all the Thirds runs rampant. Armitage in her quest to put the murderer to justice reveals a secret. She herself is a Third.
